Parklands petrol station held up by armed gang

A gang of armed robbers held up staff at a Parklands petrol station in the early hours of Sunday morning, Western Cape police confirmed.

Three men and a woman entered the petrol station in Link Road around 01:00, said police spokesperson Captain Frederick van Wyk.

They threatened staff with two firearms and took their cash and cellphones. The gang then fled.

No shots were fired and no one was hurt.

Van Wyk said no arrests had yet been made.
