Only blacks can claim land says ANC official – old Boer Republic

Only blacks can put in land-claims says ANC official in response to Front National (FN) Land Claim:

April 25 2014 – The biggest land claim for land bought by the ancestors of the Boer-Afrikaner people from local tribes in the northern parts of South Africa, has been rejected until procedural and other technical problems concerning the process in general, have been sorted out – according to newly-formed Front Nasionaal political party, who tried to register the claim yesterday at the office of the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform.

According to the party’s official facebook site, the spokesperson at the office of the commissioner for land claims, also said that land claims are for “natives” (blacks) only, but suggested that the claimants return at a later stage to register the claim, as soon as difficulties with the new electronic claim system have been sorted out.

The representative added that the handbook containing the guidelines that informs the application process, has been put on hold by the parliamentarian commission charged with the responsibility to formulate the said rules guiding the process. On top of this, he added that the Land Claim legislation still needs to be signed into law, before applicants can approach the land claims commissioner to register claims.
Front Nasionaal voiced their disappointment at the outcome of their campaign, but despite the negative outcome, local and foreign media have taken note of the FN action, and the message that Boer-Afrikaner people are actively seeking self-determination based on a legitimate claim, is spreading throughout the world. ….
