NUMSA tackles Ramaphosa over minimum wage

Although Cyril Ramaphosa is from trade unionism, not all trade unions are necessarily pleased with him.

This was evident from a Workers’ Day speech by NUMSA’s chief secretary, Irvin Jim.

Jim climbed into Ramaphosa and said he did not look after the needs of the workers. The 24 unions affiliated to NUMSA will not waive on their claim for a minimum wage of R12 500.

Jim called Ramaphosa the Donald Trump of South Africa, which represents only the mining and business sector, and that Ramaphosa also exploits black workers.
