Police have launched a manhunt following a rape incident, where a woman was raped by two accosters. The victim reported that on Monday, 15 November 2021, at approximately 20:26, she was on her way to the local tuck shop in Long Street, Kimberley when she was accosted by two armed unknown men.

The suspects threatened to kill her should she scream or make any noise. The victim alleges that the suspects robbed her of her cellphone, dragged her into a nearby bush at gunpoint and took turns raping her. The suspects fled the scene after raping the victim.

Kimberley police are requesting the assistance of the public to identify the possible rape suspects a depicted in the attached identity kit. On the day of the incident, one suspect, approximately 1.7 meter tall, light in complexion, slender built, between the age of 25 and 30 was wearing a long sleeve red T-shirt, jeans, navy bush hat and was in possession of a knife.

The other accomplice, aged between 25 and 30, approximately 1.5 meter tall, slender built, dark in complexion, wore a black bush hat, a T-shirt and jeans, he was in possession of a firearm.

Both suspects spoke in Afrikaans language.
