The police in Sunrise outside De Aar have arrested a 39 year old woman in connection with the murder of her boyfriend. The body of a 42 year old man was found lying along Moerbei Street, at Kareeville in Sunrise around 01:30 on 23 November 2019.
The deceased was certified dead on the scene by the Emergency Medical Services personnel. Preliminary investigation fingered the woman, hence her arrest. The motive has not yet been established.
The suspect is expected to appear before De Aar Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 25 November 2019.
