A joint operation between the Williston SAPS, Calvinia Task Team, Calvinia K9 unit and Williston Crime Intelligence unit yielded a good drug success. On Monday, 21 October 2019 at about 05:00, the team pounced on the 33 year old male suspect at his house in Williston.
Police searched the premises and confiscated 36 full Mandrax tablets, 17 quarter Mandrax tablets, 13 pokes of dagga, 26 packets of Tik, cash and a measuring scale.
The estimated street value of the drugs is R12 000.
The suspect should be appearing in the Williston Magistrates’ Court soon. The investigation continues.
