The members Upington Public Order Police operationalised information received about drug sales. A search warrant for a premises was executed on Saturday, 1 May 2021 at about 12:00, in Upington.

The male suspect was arrested with dagga amounting to over R270 000.

He will be charged with dealing in dagga and should be appearing in the Upington Magistrate’s Court.

The Acting District Commissioner for ZF Mgcawu, Brig Johnny Besnaar lauded the members of Upington Public Order Policing for a job well and also commended the community for their assistance in this great success.
