Swift policing puts three behind bars for business robbery:

Three men were arrested in the Upington area after they allegedly robbed a well -known supermarket in Kakamas on Monday, 19 December 2016 at approximately 6am.

The men threatened the manager and ten staff members with a firearm and forced them all into one office. The men fled with cash, cell phones and the manager’s Jeep. The vehicle was left abandoned just outside Kakamas.

Police followed up on information and cornered the suspects at a guesthouse in Upington, hours later. Police recovered most of the stolen cash, cell phones and a 9mm pistol from the suspects. A grey BMW was also confiscated by the police. The suspects are aged 25, 28 and 31 and should appearing in the Upington Magistrates Court soon.
