Three Kuruman business robbers removed from society for 10 years

Three robbers namely Thapelo Losesa (30), Tshepang Phelane (26) and Lesego Kenosi (26) were sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for business robbery by the Kuruman Regional Court on 14 February 2019.

It was in August 2016 when the trio robbed a shop owner of cigarettes worth R7000, airtime vouchers valued at R6000 and undisclosed amount of cash at Bankhara.

The Station Commander of Kuruman Brig Baloyi posthumously thanked the late Constable Moeng who meticulously investigated the case leading to the sentencing of the accused.

The late Constable Moeng passed on last Friday after an illness and will be laid to rest tomorrow, 16 February 2019 at Mondera village in Kuruman.
