The SAPS Northern Cape Trio Crimes Unit is investigating case of business robbery that took place on 20 March 2018 at a Tavern in Phakamile Mabija Road, Kimberley.

It is alleged that four men entered the tavern at approximately 23:30 and threatened the owner and 3 employees with firearms. The suspects fled with a substantial amount of cash and four cell phones. Kimberley Visible Policing unit followed up on information and arrested three men on the 24 March 2018 at about 18:50, in the Kimberley Central Business District.

The suspects are between 22 and 29 years old and should be appearing in the Kimberley Magistrates’ Court soon. One other male suspect is still at large, therefore the Police request that anyone with information please contact Detective Warrant Officer Patrick Dibebe on 082 752 2577 or Detective Constable Bernard Sebegiwe on 082 328 9472.
