Police arrested three men in connection with the robbery and shooting that allegedly took place at a tuck shop in Ganspan, Jan Kempdorp.
On Tuesday, 01 August 2017 at about 13:00 three suspects allegedly entered the tuck-shop, shot the tuck shop owner and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
The 30-year-old male was rushed to hospital with a gun shot wound to his head. A man hunt was immediately activated and three suspects were arrested hours later in Ganspan by the NC Provincial Trio Crime and Jan Kempdorp detectives.
The suspects are between 22 and 31 years old and should be appearing in the Jan Kempdorp Magistrates’ Court soon. The investigation continues.
