Operation Vala Konke continues to clamp down on criminal activities and successfully put perpetrators of crime behind bars.

On Thursday, 8 December 2022, members of Prieska Visible Policing acted swiftly subsequent to receiving a tip-off about suspicious stock theft incident on the R357 road.

The team responded swiftly and caught the suspects red-handed with a bakkie loaded with suspected stolen sheep.

The suspects immediately directed the police to a nearby farm where they stole sheep.

A total of six sheep to the value of R20 000-00 were found in possession of the suspects, loaded in a white Ford Bantam bakkie.

The suspects were apprehended and charged with stock theft.

The bakkie was also confiscated as it is believed to have been instrumental in the commission of crime.
