Members of Postmasburg SAPS arrested three men, aged between 18 and 22 years old, on 24 January 2022 after a they allegedly stole items from a truck delivering mechanical equipment in the Postmasburg Industrial area.

Relief members reacted swiftly to the complaint and arrested the three suspects after they fled the scene.

The Station Commander, Col Andries Witbooi commended the members for their quick and swift response in apprehending the suspects.

The police is concerned about the latest tendency where delivery trucks are being targeted and urge drivers and owners to be more alert and vigilant when making deliveries.

Residents are also warned that it is a crime to buy and sell stolen goods. Instead they are urged to report and reject stolen goods.
