An investigation has been instituted after a fire destroyed nearly 80% of Sutherland’s high school.
Seven classrooms, the administrative offices, staff room and the school entrance hall were completely destroyed. Only four classrooms and the hostel are not damaged.
Meanwhile, a student in a school in Richmond in the Northern Cape was stabbed by a fellow schoolmate with a knife.
