The Hawks Serious Organised Crime Investigation in Kathu is seeking public’s assistance in locating Samkele Shezi (38) who is allegedly linked to murder case.
During June 2023, a police sergeant was brutally shot and killed by the alleged suspect whilst trying to resolve a fight between the suspect and his friend. Shezi later fled the scene after noticing that the police sergeant was unresponsive.
A murder case has since been opened and a warrant of arrest has been issued against the suspect.
