On Saturday, 11 April 2020 at about 02:00 Sgt Eiman, Constables Canchibato and Jantjies all working at Kathu SAPS crime prevention unit arrested a 28-year-old man for being in possession of suspected stolen property.
The three officials were busy doing patrol duty in Kathu at Rooisand area when they stopped and searched the man.
During the searching they found toolbox with spanners, socks, shoes, etc. All items amount to the value of R4000-00. After failing to give a satisfactory explanation to the officials as to where did he bought the items he was arrested.
The suspect will appear before the Kathu magistrate court soon on charge of suspected stolen goods.
