On Thursday, 3 January 2020, at about 13:35 Sgt Berend Eiman, Constables Juanre Bean, Innocentia Bangiso and Ariska Sterrenberg recovered a stolen vehicle in Kathu.

According to the report a member of the public informed the police that there is a vehicle VW Golf with registration number JSN 842 NW white in colour which was left unattended since October 2019, by someone at a particular building in Kathu. The four police officials responded quickly to the complaint.

On arrival at the scene they circulated the vehicle and it was found that the vehicle was reported as stolen in Tlhabane last year December. Thus far, no arrest has been made. But the police investigation continues.

The Cluster Commander of JTG Major General Johan Bean commended and praised the members for their quick response to the complaint.

Major General Bean also urged members of the public to keep on reporting suspicious vehicles to the police so that they can be circulated.
