After the recent horrific triple farm murder in Magogong, in the Hartswater area of the Northern Cape province, coupled with the extreme number of other farm attacks and farm murders in South Africa, there will be a peaceful march on 30 July 2020. The attackers will be appearing in the Hartswater magistrate’s court for their savage murder of the Brand family on Sunday 26 July 2020.
Danie Brand (83) and his wife Breggie (73) along with their daughter Elzabie (54) were violently murdered by the accused.
The march against these atrocities is planned to create awareness around the country and the world. This after the ANC president denied the existence of farm murders on an international stage and the police refuse to recognise these attacks as priority crimes.
Between 1 January 2020, and 15 July 2020, there have already been 203 farm attacks and 29 farm murders in the country.
After consultations with the SAPS, Traffic and the State prosecutor gatherings for the march can take place from 07:30 at the following places:
Hartswater members at Amaglug.
Jan Kempdorp members at the hospital.
Christiana members at Liba Afslaers.
Thereafter everyone may move slowly to the small church.
Thereafter the procession, in single file, may proceed around the police station, the magistrates court and the small church.
After handing over petitions and after the court proceedings, everyone must please disperse and go to one of the following places;
Either the small church or in front of Bean.
At these points people will be advised of the courts decision in the matter.
COVID-19 regulations will apply:
Only two people per vehicle.
No hate speech or banners inciting such hate speech or violence.
Masks must be worn.
Farm workers are encouraged to join the march.
If required the Security representative, Frederik van Zyl, can be contacted on 083 265 1534.
People are requested to adhere to all the rules and present themselves with dignity whilst creating awareness that the world’s main stream media choose to ignore.
