School burglary, swift response sees suspect arrested, Galeshewe

On 22 May 2020, a 20-year-old man was arrested for breaking into a local school in Galeshewe.

It is alleged that the suspect was seen by a passer-by while trying to move some items from the school. He allegedly ran away with aluminium pots worth R2000-00, leaving behind other items.

The police were notified and immediately followed up on information which led them to the suspect. He was found in possession of the alleged stolen pots and was arrested.

The suspect is expected to appear before Galeshewe Magistrate’s Court soon. Police investigation continues.
