Three days later on Saturday, 9 March 2019 at about 16:00, Dino Jacobs confronted another 26-year-old female in a veld near Postmasburg High School. He also threatened her with a knife and demanded her to undress. The victim begged Jacobs not to rape her, but he grabbed her cellphone and fled the scene and the victim contacted the police who arrested the accused on 11 March 2019.

Jacobs abandoned his bail application and was sentenced to 20 years direct imprisonment for rape and 6 years for attempted rape on 14 September 2021. His name will also be recorded in the National Register for Sexual offenders.
