Two men aged 48 and 78-years-old were arrested for possession of dagga by Kimberley Crime Prevention Members on Monday 19 May 2020, at approximately 00:05 in Oliver Road.
It is alleged that the two occupants’ vehicle was spotted by the police officials who were busy with crime prevention duties.
The suspects’ vehicle was stopped and upon searching it, three bags were found at the back seat of their vehicle containing dagga with a street value of R45 000-00.
The suspects were arrested and detained and will soon appear at the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court.
Police investigation continues.
