Police in Prieska have arrested a 29-year-old in connection with possession of two bags of dagga. The suspect was arrested along R357, about 23 km outside Prieska towards Douglas at about 10:00 on the morning of 23 December 2020.
The suspect was arrested with the assistance of two Security Officers from Excalibur Security Company. The suspect was searched and found in possession of two bags of dagga valued at R120 000.
The Station Commander of Prieska, Lt Col Rendani Ndou has applauded members for their prompt reaction. The suspect is expected to appear before the Prieska Magistrates Court soon.
