The Northern Cape Provincial Detective Organised Crime Unit clamped down on a 27 year old man and charged him for possession of presumed stolen goods. The suspect was arrested in the early hours of Friday, 20 September 2019, at his house in Thabo Street in Jan Kempdorp.
The police infiltrated and raided the house of the suspect. Presumed stolen goods which included a 4.5mm air-gun with magazine, electrical appliance such as television set, computer, hard drive, key pad, remote controller, mouse and compact disc player were found inside the house of the suspect.
The suspect could not account on the ownership of goods found in his possession. He is expected to appear before Jan Kempdorp Magistrates’ Court on a charge of possession of presumed stolen good.
