The suspects were arrested for crimes ranging from possession and dealing in drugs, possession of suspected stolen property, arson, possession if copper wires, drunken driving, assault with intend to do grievous bodily harm, malicious damage to property, drugs with street value of R380 000 were seized from Wrenchville, Bankhara and Seven Miles.

The operation commenced on 13 July and comprised of members from Provincial Visible Police, Flying Squad, Air Wing, Crime Intelligence, Traffic, Tactical Response Team, Public Order Police, K9, Corporate Communication and Liaison, Criminal Record and Crime Scene Management, Neighbourhood Watch and members from John Taolo Gaetsewe.

The operations were led by the Provincial Head of Operational Response Team, Brigadier Monica Sebili and the Station Commander of Kuruman, Brigadier Kenneth Baloyi, under the command of the Cluster Commander of John Taolo Gaetsewe Cluster, Major General Johan Bean.

The focus of the operation was on trio crimes, wanted suspects, drug dealers, and transportation of stolen goods, drunken driving and lawlessness in the cluster.

The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in the Northern Cape, Lieutenant General Risimati Peter Shivuri has welcomed the commendable work by all members who participated during the High Density Operation.
