Murder of Jacques Lodewyk, accused handed 10 year sentence, Postmasburg

The lifeless body of Mr Jacques Lodewyk was found at his home in Postmasburg after an Argument with the Accused on 14 February 2020.

On 23 November 2020, 22-year-old Hendrich Haas was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for the murder of Mr Lodewyk.

The Station Commander, Lt Col Andries Witbooi is very much impressed with the certainty in securing conviction and sentencing of all murder cases by Investigation Officer WO Diane Diphoko.

The Station Commander emphasized that the death of victims is not in vain and that those responsible are held liable.
