The ZF Mgcawu Cluster Highway Patrol, assisted by Kimberley TRT intercepted shipment of mandrax tablets on 31 December 2018, at about 11:30.

The interception was after reliable information which was operationalised. The tablets are weighing 1,6 kg valued at about R105 300,00.

The drugs were found hidden in a secret compartment at one of the rooms raided by police.

Police investigation continues.
