SHOOTING – A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being wounded in a shooting incident in Dalham Road, Kimberley, on Sunday, Northern Cape paramedics said.
ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said when paramedics arrived at the scene they found the man lying next to the road.
“It is understood that he was being attended to by one of two friends on [the] scene. He was in a critical condition.”
Paramedics treated the man, believed to be 25 years old, and transported him to hospital for further medical care.
“The exact cause of the incident is unknown. It is understood that the suspects fled the scene. Authorities were on [the] scene to investigate further,” Bodasing said.
