The Northern Cape Police Management, applauded Constable Khumooetsile Setlhauno for good investigative work and the synergy displayed, by the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) and Department of Justice (DOJ) by ensuring that a 22-year-old Kagiso Senwedi was found guilty and sentenced to effective 15 years imprisonment.

Kagiso was convicted earlier this week by the Kuruman Regional Court, for the murder he committed in September 2019. During court proceedings it came to light that Kagiso stabbed Thabang Tshwene to death in Laxey village near Kuruman, subsequent to an argument which resulted in a multiple fatal stab wounds.
