Kuruman Businessman, Bathusi Louis Diemeng (39) is facing a charge of fraud following his failure to comply with Municipal regulations.
Diemeng’s company called Omogolo Consulting Service was appointed to supply protective clothing kits to the disaster management service section of John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality. A payment of R52 920.00 was made to the company with the necessary specifications.
Upon the delivery of the goods, after the payments in July 2016, it was discovered that the company deviated from the prescribed specifications and opted for cheaper material and compromised the quality of the required service.
He was served with court summons on the 9 December 2016 and has appeared in the Kuruman Magistrates Court on 15 December and the matter was postponed to the 18 February 2017.
