Kareeberg Municipality fraud, 2 suspects sought, Carnarvon

The Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation is seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the whereabouts of Thandiwe Neki Tladi (26) and Andiswe Nebulan (24), who could help in solving a case of fraud and forgery.

Raubex Group LTD had a contract with Kareeberg Municipality in Carnarvon. It is alleged that during 2018, the municipality received an email believed to have been sent by Raubex Group, providing new banking details of which over R700 000-00 was paid.

It is further alleged that Raubex group enquired about their money but only to be told that it has been paid already.

Intensive investigation by Serious Commercial Crime Investigation team revealed that both suspects illegally changed the Raubex group banking account into their own account.
