K9 unit sniffs out R50k worth of mandrax, Kimberley

On Thursday, 13 February 2020, at about 13:30pm the SAPS K9 unit and Crime Intelligence followed up on information regarding drug sales in the Colville area in Kimberley.

Police pounced on two females and one male and found just more than 800 mandrax tablets on the premises. The estimated street value is over R50 000-00.

Police also confiscated cash during the search and seizure action. The male is 52-years-old while the two females are aged 28 and 37-years old.

The suspects should be appearing in the Kimberley Magistrates Court soon on charges of dealing in drugs.

The police investigation continues.
