Frances Baard Crime Intelligence Members Embarked on an Operation In Pampierstad, Phatsima Location on 26 November 2021 from 10:00 till 14:00.

A disruptive operation was conducted in conjunction of Security Intelligence, Kimberley POP and Kimberley focusing on illegal electricity connections.

Cables were disconnected in 21 houses, of which home owners paid R3000-00 each for this illegal connection to the contractor who is alleged to be busy with the same illegal electrification process in Tlapeng Village in North West Jurisdiction.

Material recovered consists of 8x7m poles,3x5m poles, 1xpole box, 300m Aerial Bundle Conductor, 200m AirDec Conductor and 11 Pip Tails valued at R150 000-00.

A Case docket has been opened and investigation is currently underway to address the suspect responsible for the illegal connection.
