The Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) in Prieska is appealing to the community to assist in tracing an alleged rapist.
On Monday, 20 August 2018 at about 14:00, the 29 year old female victim was allegedly at a hiking spot just outside Prieska on the R357. An unknown male suspect accosted her with a knife and dragged her to a nearby veld where he allegedly raped her.
Anyone with information can call Detective Constable Denzil Swarts on 079 697 8603. The investigation continues.
