A 23 year old escapee from Hope Town was re-arrested on 17 February 2019 in Hope Town. The escapee escaped from Hope Town Correctional Services Facility last week.
The 23 year old, Jacques Codesa Van Rooyen was spotted yesterday at Strydenburg where he is residing. The information was relayed to the police. The suspect was traced and found hid in the ceiling of a building in the local stadium.
The Cluster Commander of Pixley Ka Seme, Brigadier Adonis commended members for their quick response to the re arrest of the escapee.
She also thanked members of the community for their valuable information.
