The Hawks in Northern Cape collaborated with the Department of Education in concluding the Human Trafficking awareness drive on Monday, 16 October 2017.

The Northern Cape MEC for the Department of Education, Ms Martha Bertlett addressed teachers from various schools at Tetlanyo High School in Galeshewe.

This awareness campaign drive ensued on Wednesday, 11 October 2017 in De Aar, where the Hawks along with SAPS Social Crime Prevention and the Community Police Forum (CPF) in De Aar addressed learners at Mthanjeni Primary School.

This was followed by an after school march to the community hall where learners from Monwabisi High School were addressed on drugs and human trafficking.

On Friday, 20 October 2017, the Hawks team with Kagiso Social Crime Prevention along with the police band participated during the open day event at Moremogolo FET College.

The Hawks participation on all these campaigns is to ensure that we raise awareness and mobilize learners and the community at large to support the fight against drugs and drug abuse and the scourge of Trafficking in the province.
