The stand-by member received information about a white Volkswagen Caddy Bakkie allegedly transporting stolen livestock on the Rietfontein road.

Information was operationalised whereby the vehicle was stopped and searched. The police recovered carcasses, a sheep and other items to the value of R8 000-00 and the vehicle that was used in the commission of crime was impounded. The owner of the livestock was present to identify his property.
