A farm murder took place on Monday 13 June 2022, on a small holding in Danielskuil, in the Northern Cape province of South Africa. Andries Jacobs (39) the farm foreman was brutally murdered when he came to the assistance of the owner, who had called him, after an attacker was attempting to break into his house.
Wessel Kriek (77) and his wife, Valerie (76), were were watching TV when an attacker attempted to break in at the kitchen door.
Jacobs arrived at the scene and walked into the attacker.
The attacker assaulted Jacobs with a panga and then crushed his head with a large rock.
The aners called the police for assistance who responded and arrested the suspect who is expected to appear in the Danielskuil Magistrate’s Court.
