A farm attack took place on the evening of Friday 10 July 2020, on the farm Schaapkraal, near Komaggas, in the Northern Cape province of South Africa. Paul Mostert (77) was seriously injured when five attackers turned off the power to his house and violently assaulted him when he opened the door.
It is unclear what was taken, if anything, during the assault. Mostert was left him in a serious condition after the terrorists fled but managed to raise the alarm. He was admitted to a hospital in Upington.
Police are investigating the attack, there have been no arrests. There is no other information available at this stage.
