The SAPS Northern Cape Trio Crime Unit are investigating a farm attack that allegedly took place during the evening of Tuesday, 13 February 2018 at a farm near Windsorton.

The 82 year old farmer and his wife were allegedly asleep when the suspects entered the house, assaulted them and tied them up.

Although information is still sketchy, it is further alleged that the suspects fled with the farmers white Mahindra bakkie, a firearm and a television set. The Mahindra bakkie was however later recovered on the Barkly West Road not far from the farm.

The farmer and his wife are both admitted to hospital for medical treatment.
