On Wednesday 23 October 2019, at about 7:00, the SAPS Crime Intelligence Unit accompanied by Springbok K9 and Stock Theft units followed up on information regarding alleged drug dealing activities in Nollothville, Port Nolloth. Police raided a house and found Tik and Mandrax to the approximate street value of R1530-00 that was allegedly stashed inside the toilet bowl.
A substantial amount of cash was also found inside the premises.
While busy with the operational duties police spotted a suspicious looking male in a nearby veld. Police pursued and arrested him after finding a bag filled with 25 dagga parcels. The estimated street value of the dagga is R7530.
Both the males were arrested for dealing in drugs. The investigations continues.
