Police in Port Nolloth followed up on information about drug related activities at a known drug house in Nollothville.

A joint operation was launched by Crime Prevention Port Nolloth on 1 March 2018, Detective branch Port Nolloth and K9 Unit Springbok. Upon arrival at the identified premises, the search warrant was executed and when nothing was found inside the house members went outside and searched the plot.

A deserted fishermen’s boat was spotted outside the back gate and was searched. During the search dagga was found hidden at 3 different locations on the boat.

It was brought in to the Station and the total dagga seized weighed 2.885 kg to the street value of R4 327.50. As the dagga was found outside the property no arrest could be made but still by the hard work of our men in blue more drugs are kept of the streets in our beautiful coastal town.
