The police’s relentlessness paid off on the night of 24 August 2020, when they arrested two men in Douglas for dealing in drugs.

The team comprising of members from Provincial Organised Crime and Kimberley K9 Unit, executed an operation at a house in Dasievoël Street in Douglas. During the execution of the operation, the members confiscated Tik and cash amounting to R7000-00 believed to be the proceeds of the sale of the drugs.

Two men aged 34 and 36 years old, were arrested and a VW Polo 1.6 was also seized as it was used in the commission of a crime. The suspects will soon appear in the Douglas Magistrate court on a charge of dealing in drugs.

The police will continue unabated to squeeze the space for drug dealers to operate in the province.
