In an attempt to remove drugs from the streets in Kathu, Sgt Ben Eiman and Constables Blythe Jantjes and Beatriz Canchibato arrested a 40-year-old male suspect and confiscated drugs.

On 1 May 2020 at approximately 15:40 the three members of Kathu Crime Prevention unit followed up on information regarding the sale of drugs at a house in Smartietown in Kathu.
