The police in Frances Baard Cluster and K9 Unit, continued to lock down criminal activities, as they bust drug peddlers in the cluster.
A 58-year-old man was caught napping, when the police raided his house in Iris Street, Barkly West in the early hours of Friday, 7 February 2020.
During the search fifty seven (57) quarters of mandrax tablets, eight (8) halves mandrax tablets, two (2) full mandrax tablets, 10 grams of crystal meth and 4 grams of Khat, including cash R10 700 were confiscated.
The suspect is expected to appear before the Barkly West Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 9 February 2020, on a count of dealing in drugs.
The Frances Baard Cluster Commander, commended the team for displaying high level of zero tolerance, against criminal activities.
