The Kimberley SAPS Flying Squad, Crime Intelligence and Kagisho SAPS pounced on an unsuspecting male suspect at his house in Kagisho and confiscated dagga with an estimated street value of R700 000-00.

On Monday, 2 August 2021 at about 19:50 the police followed up on information and found 462kg of dagga stashed in a bakkie and hidden in a shanty in Kagisho, in Galeshewe.

The 44-year-old male suspect was arrested and the police also seized money. The white Nissan NP200 bakkie that was allegedly utilized during the commission of crime was also confiscated.

The suspect should be appearing on a charge of dealing in dagga in the Galeshewe Magistrates Court soon. The investigation continues.

The District Commissioner for Frances Baard, Major General Johan Bean lauded the SAPS members for a sterling job done and also commended the community for their assistance in this regard.
