In effort to eradicate drugs from our communities, the police in Campbell arrested two male suspects and confiscated drugs worth approximately R22 000.00.

On 29 January 2021, Sergeant Mohapi and Constable Fortuin were patrolling the Papkuil Road when they stopped and searched a suspicious looking vehicle with two occupants. The members found 186 mandrax tablets and two packets of tik weighing 205 gram in the vehicle.

The drugs were confiscated and the two male suspects were arrested and are expected to appear before court soon on charges of dealing in drugs.

The District Commander of Pixley Ka Seme, Brigadier Nomana Adonis applauded the members for their vigilance and swift response.
