Border police recover R81k worth of dagga, Upington

On Thursday, 5 December 2019, Upington Border Police and Upington K9 unit conducted a joint operation after information was received that drugs were being stored and sold at a premises in Paballelo, Upington.

The information was activated and the residence was raided. The suspect, a 37 year old male was found in possession of 11,60Kg dagga to the value of R81 200-00 were seized.

The suspect was arrested and will appear in the Upington Magistrate’s Court soon.

The investigation continues.
