Kimberley Visible Police arrested two 29 year old males for Robbery. On Monday 20 January 2020, at about 10:10, Sergeant Samuel Van Der Linde, Sergeant Mogoiwa Setlhare, Constable Motshidisi Makutu and Constable Phumla Mpolokeng arrested two suspects at the Indian Centre after they followed up on information about a stolen bicycle.

It is alleged that the two suspects threatened the complainant with a knife and robbed his mountain bike close to Cecil Sussman Road in the Kimberley CBD.

The complainant immediately stopped patrolling police and informed them about the robbery. The Police reacted swiftly and arrested the suspect’s minutes later at the Indian Centre Taxi Rank in Kimberley.

The suspects are expected to appear in the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court soon. The investigation continues.
