Members of the ZF Mcgawu Cluster had successful roadblocks which commenced simultaneously at 17:00 on 29 December 2017.
The road blocks were held at the following roads: N14 Rosedale/ Paballelo R31, Postmasburg R360, Witdraai R360, N14 Kakamas/Augrabies, N10 Nakop / Upington, Groblershoop N10, Keimoes/ Kenhardt R27
Three suspects were arrested as follows: 1 suspect arrested for theft out of motor vehicle as per Upington case, 1 suspect arrested for possession of 250 mandrax tablets, 1 suspect arrested for drunken driving.
A suspected stolen Iveco engine was confiscated.
A number of 68 fines were issued to motorists for the contravention of the Road Traffic Act.
