On Thursday, 11 December 2025, police arrested a 26-year-old man for dealing in dagga in Paballelo.
The arrest followed a joint operation conducted under #OperationShanela2 and #SaferFestiveSeason. Units from Upington Border Police, the SAPS K9 Unit, and Crime Intelligence executed a search and seizure warrant at a residence based on received information.
A significant quantity of dagga was discovered and confiscated. The suspect is expected to appear in court soon.
